Product Description

S-FD30 is ECR glass fiber tissue made by wet-laid process. It is produced by silane treated yarn which makes S-FD30 suitable for epoxy resin. Compared to other fiberglass tissue, it has higher temperature resistance, good for RTM, vacuum infusion process for wind energy. It is mainly used for wind turbine blades.

Product Features

1. Good surface effect
For RTM and vacuum infusion process, S-FD30 provides good surface effect, it is very good at covering the fiberglass texture for final products. In the manufacturing of wind turbine blades, S-FD30 is used to create a smooth, aerodynamic surface that enhances performance and durability.
Comparing to other materials, the cost of using fiberglass surface tissue is lower.


2. High temperature resistant glue
S-FD30 uses special glue. For RTM process, the resin curing time is short, the reaction exothermic peak 180ºC is reached quickly, so high temperature resistance can ensure that the good surface of the product without getting yellow.
