Product Description

Product Description

Fiberglass cloth is made of E-glass twist yarn of 5.6g, 11.2g and 22.4G per kilometer. The thickness from 0.025mm to 0.09mm, and gram weight is 17g to 100g. Widely applied to make electric insulated mica fabric, it is also called mica fabric. And density can be determined by customer's requirements. The application is to make mica tape or reinforce carbon fiber.

Product Features

The high GSM value indicates a denser weave compared to lighter weight alternatives, which results in greater strength and better resistance against wear and tear. This makes it an ideal material choice where robustness is paramount, ensuring that the equipment maintains its structural integrity under intense use.

A key feature of this glass fiber cloth is its ability to be easily impregnated with resins, such as epoxy, which bond to the fibers to create a strong matrix. Resin-impregnated fibers provide enhanced bonding strength and can improve the overall performance characteristics like impact resistance and fatigue life.

In terms of processing for sport equipment applications, this glass fiber cloth is usually cut into specific shapes and sizes depending on the part requirements and then cured under heat and pressure in a mold. The final product exhibits minimal shrinkage during curing, ensuring precise fitment and integration with other components of the sport equipment.

Additionally, high-performance glass fiber cloth often has good thermal stability which means it can withstand temperature variations without compromising its properties. This is particularly important for sporting goods that might experience changes in ambient conditions or be subjected to heat treatments during manufacturing processes.

The cost-efficiency versus performance ratio makes this material appealing for manufacturers looking to balance quality and costs when developing high-quality sport equipment. It offers a robust solution suitable for mass production while maintaining the necessary strength requirements for various sports activities.

To summarize, High-Performance 110 GSM Glass Fiber Cloth is an advanced composite material used in sports equipment manufacturing due to its strength, durability, resistance to wear, ease of resin impregnation, thermal stability, and cost-effectiveness.
