It's a kind of composite resin, which belongs to Polyethylene.

1.2 Chemical properties
Polyvinyl acetate has degree of polymerization form 100 to 5000.
PVAC and its ester are sensitive to alkali.PVAC can be slowly decomposed into polyvinyl alcohol and acetic acid under alkaline conditions.

Stability: Stable under sunlight; stable uder 125ºC.  The color begins to darken at 150ºC; Decomposition releases acetic acid and brown ester insoluble matter at 225ºC.
