Fiberglass Film Former 8407 is anionic/non-ionic polyester urethane polymer based on aliphatic isocyanates.
Typical physical:
CWB-8407 was developed for the sizing of glass fibers used to reinforce thermoplastics, particularly polyamide. Glass fiber sizing based on CWB-8407 are characterized by their outstanding film-forming properties and very good adhesion. Colorfastness at high temperatures is excellent. It is also very stable against shear forces.
CWB-8407 is an analogue of Neoxil 9851AF. It has been used in glass fiber production successfully.
